Prepared for DeFi Technologies

A Nordic newsroom for the investors Valour is built for.

NA Media, the media company we are building inside Nordic Angels. Stockholm, September 2026.

Set the tone: we have done our homework on them. This is a conversation about a media company that sits in the market they already care about.

Stockholm is already one of Valour's home markets.

Valour has kept adding SEK-denominated products on Spotlight since moving its Nordic listings there, and Swedish investors buy them through the brokers they already use.

Nordic Angels was built in the same city, around the same kind of investor. That overlap is the reason for this conversation.

Valour's own Nordic history: NGM to Spotlight in October 2024, then continued SEK launches. Their co-founder is Swedish. Mention it lightly.

The room DeFi Technologies would be walking into.

Nordic Angels is the largest angel network in the Nordics: the founders, operators and private investors who move early-stage capital in the region.

We run the Luncheons, the Angel Prize and side events at Davos and Almedalen. We publish State of European Angels with BCG. We co-own Mingla, Acap, Nordisia, Angel Advisory and Sekond with their founders, and Snöboll is our long-term investment company.

The group is now moving from building to buying. Media is part of that.

Keep this short. The point is access: these are the people who decide whether digital assets belong in a portfolio.

You own your value chain from issuance to trading. We want to own ours all the way to the reader.

Everything we launch needs to reach investors, finance professionals and decision makers. Today we rent that reach, campaign by campaign.

We already make media inside the group: newsletters, social, podcasts and the Angel Prize Magazine. What we don't have is a news brand with independent credibility. That takes many years to build, so we are buying one.

DeFi Technologies describes itself as vertically integrated. This is the same logic applied to distribution.

A newsroom read by the kind of investor Valour sells to.

We are in talks to acquire the assets of an established Nordic financial news brand, read by finance professionals, investors and executives.

  • The brand and its editorial reputation
  • The archive and its search ranking
  • Newsletters and reader registers
  • First-party reader data and advertiser relationships

We buy the assets without the company around them, so there is no legacy cost base and no listing. The name stays confidential until an NDA is in place.

Do not name the brand. Size and price come after the NDA.

What we build, with a digital assets desk that fits your world.

The brand becomes a set of focused editions, each with its own audience, advertisers and events.

  • Editions for AI, defence, cyber security, energy and digital assets, each with its own newsletter and community.
  • Events under the brand, filled by our network from the first day.
  • Community apps built on the Nordic Angels tech stack, so readers become members.
  • Media for equity and IR packages for growth companies and listed small caps.
  • Creator partnerships with people who have reach but lack a newsroom behind them.
  • A premium tier and data products once the base is in place.
The digital assets edition is where DeFi Technologies fits. Spend time here if they lean in.

What NA Media gets on day one, before DeFi Technologies adds anything.

Everything Nordic Angels, Snöboll, Sekond, Angel Advisory, Mingla and the rest of the group launches will run through NA Media instead of rented channels. That volume is the floor.

  • The companies in our network and among our associated companies that need IR and visibility
  • Our events, from the Luncheons and the Angel Prize to Davos and Almedalen
  • The audience we already reach through newsletters, podcasts and social channels
  • The group's external marketing spend, which moves in-house

We will share the figures behind this later in the process.

Numbers come later. Keep the focus on the volume the group already produces.

The IR work DeFi Technologies does every quarter, packaged for Nordic small caps.

Listed companies need investors to understand them between reports. Most small caps have no one to help with that. We can package it around a trusted newsroom and a network of active investors.

Targets and pricing can be shared later in the process.

  • Who buys. Companies listed on Nasdaq First North, Spotlight and NGM, our own associated companies, and companies preparing for a listing.
  • What they get. Distribution through our newsletters and editions, investor meetings and roadshows with the angel network, sponsored formats, and aggregated reader insight. Editorial coverage only where there is news value.
  • How they pay. Cash for listed companies. Growth companies can pay partly in equity or revenue share through our media for equity model.
DeFi Technologies is itself a listed company with an active IR function, so they will recognise the problem immediately.

Seven revenue lines, and the digital assets edition draws on all of them.

The model only. Projections come later.

The first twelve months, and when DeFi Technologies would see it working.

Where the digital assets edition lands in this sequence is something we can agree on together.

Q1
Closing and technical foundation. The core newsroom is in place, the group's launches run through NA Media, and the first edition goes live.
Q2
Editions two and three. The first event. The community app in a first version.
Q3
The event series is running. The first media for equity cases. The IR offer goes to market.
Q4
Four editions live. Premium launched. Data products for advertisers. A yearly rhythm to grow from.
Do not commit to a quarter for the digital assets edition yet.

Structured the way you structure a regulated product: clear rules, and a wall where it matters.

NA Media will be its own company with its own shareholders. Nordic Angels holds the majority, the team owns a part, and a few strategic investors can come in on the media side only.

The newsroom sits behind an editorial firewall written into the articles of association and the board instructions. Owners, including us, do not decide what gets written.

Nordic Angels Majority owner The team DeFi Technologies and other strategics NA Media Own company, own shareholders Editorial firewall Newsroom Normal news judgment
This answers the credibility question before they ask it. Ownership above the line, journalism below it.

Valour solved access. The next barrier is knowledge.

Your own team has said the biggest barrier for investors is knowledge, not access.

A trusted Nordic newsroom is where that understanding gets built: in the articles people read on the way to work, in the newsletters they open, and in the rooms where they meet.

Reflexivity Research and the DVIO index also produce the kind of sourced material a finance desk can actually cite.

Reference their President's point on knowledge as the adoption barrier. Education is the bridge between their distribution and our audience.

What DeFi Technologies gets.

A minority stake in NA Media, and a commercial partnership around digital assets.

  • Ownership in a media company with several new revenue lines being built on top.
  • A partner role on the commercial side of the digital assets edition: education series, sponsored formats and events, always clearly labelled.
  • Reflexivity Research and the DVIO index cited as named sources whenever they are newsworthy.
  • A place at Nordic Angels events in Stockholm, Davos and Almedalen.
  • Aggregated insight into what Nordic investors read about digital assets.
Every point depends on the brand staying credible. That leads straight into the next slide.

What stays with the newsroom, even with DeFi Technologies on the cap table.

We think this protects you as much as us. If the brand loses its credibility, your stake and your partnership lose their value.

  • Control of the company, or a board majority
  • Any say over what the newsroom writes, including about DeFi Technologies and Valour
  • Rights to the brand, the archive, the registers or the reader data
  • Special commercial terms. Deals are made on normal market terms
Be direct. A partner who wanted editorial influence would damage the very thing they are investing in.

So, does DeFi Technologies want in?

We have already talked. The only question now is whether you want to take a minority stake in NA Media.

If the answer is yes, we share the asset, the structure and the numbers under NDA and agree terms from there.
